*    Our Community Christmas Program    *

was started in 1992 helping over 90 children each year to have a happy holiday. Recipients may receive a new warm winter jacket, snow pants, winter boots, a hat , mittens, fleece blanket, pajamas, undergarments, socks, toys and books along with person hygiene items such as soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hair shampoo and conditioner, mouthwash, dental floss, etc.

*    Our Snack Pack Program    *

provides healthy snacks every weekend to the students of Bristol Consolidated School, Bristol Maine who qualify for free or reduced breakfast and lunch during the school year. South Bristol Elementary School, South Bristol ME was added to the program in 2012. In 2010 the Snack Program started with 29 children. Our numbers have grown to include 70+ children who are getting the food packs every Friday. By implementing our Summer Program, Caring for Kids is now able to help the whole family which includes younger children who may not be of school age yet and high school students who are not offered the program during the school year.

*    Food Fun and Sun    *

Every Friday from 10 am to 2 pm serving free breakfast and lunch. Entertainment of games, outside water games (waterslide, etc) and crafts free cooking class, field trips like the Pemaquid Beach and Fort William Henry and lots more. At the end of the day on Friday's a family food box is provided for the entire family
